The Guiltless Foodies

We are a gourmand couple who love to discover new places and eat our hearts out. Follow us for a guilt trip along the food road.

Review: Frisbees, Andheri(w), Mumbai.

A dream doesn’t become a reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work. And with all these three in place the guys in Frisbees have proved that their enthusiasm can never die.

We are pretty sure that their very first Burger tasted as delicious as the one they just made a minute ago, with only a difference in the taste getting better and better everytime.

To be a champion, One has to see the BIG PICTURE and think OUT OF THE BOX. Well these guys just saw BIG BURGERS served INSIDE THE BOX.

One of us is a fast food junkie. A total Burgeroholic. And trust us when we say “They serve the best burgers” They are the best when it comes to the size of the burger, the fillet, the bun everything is on the larger side.

Reading the review from a fellow Zomatian @Sanjay Punjabi, we thought we should stop whatever we are doing and head straight to Frisbees. And boy were we taken by a surprise. The fact that it is only a kitchen didn’t bother us at all, the warm and friendly welcome from the burger peddlers was enough for us to go straight ahead and order.

We had the Crunchy Chicken burger, an out of the world experience with a huge and piping hot fillet, generous amount of iceberg lettuce, Tomatoes, onions, and a special beetroot mayo. The very first bite went in for the kill. We stopped talking and went ahead to devour the awesomeness.

The vegetarian half of us ordered the Ratatouille Burger. Never thought roasted veggies would taste so amazing in a burger. Again a huge burger, with the veggies, cheese, lettuce and a distinct garlic mayo. Both the burgers were served with a small portion of chilli fries.

We ended this session with the seasonal special Mango Parfait. It was a thick blend of cream, mango and house made cookie crumbs – Delicious.

It was pretty late by the time we wound up with the massive meal. and we were joined by the three brains and brawn of this outlet who went ahead to tell us the Frisbees story. The outcome, an great evening turning out to be a awesome one.

We end this review right here. But its a promise that we will return to this place and keep this section updated with our experiences every visit.

A sneak peak of what's in store this Summer at @antares_goa where @sarahtodd rustles up some lip-smacking grub and some refreshingly new Cocktails.
Opposites definitely attract. Enjoyed this Crisp and hot Malpua topped with creamy and cold Rabri @tajholidayvillage #goa at their Weekend Brunch. Ain't this a match made in heaven???

Juss means a 'meal cooked with love' and it was precisely that when a group of us close friends met up over a vegetarian only unlimited Sindhi thali. The thali comprised of Sindhi Curry, Alu Took, Sai Bhaji,Daran ji Curry, Sanna Pakoda, Chaval, Bhuga Chaval, Bhindi Bassar, Rassewale Alu, Boondi Raita, Papad, Puri, Chapatti, Rose Sharbet and a dessert of our choice. This comforting regional thali is a brainchild of Rohit @thehungrymumbaikar & sure is a super duper hit ๐Ÿ‘
Our love for this amazing Indian dessert - The Jalebi is known pretty well in the family and @thechiranjeevlakshman made sure he shared a piece of our love through a picture with us. This is the famous Jalebi from Puruliya district in West Bengal served only in the Shal tree leaf. Dipped in the sweetest of syrup yet retaining its crunch. Shubho Nabo Barsho to everyone as well.
Our "TAMIL NEW YEAR SADHYA" at home today was Rice with Beans Poriyal, Urulai Roast, Manga Curry, Thair Pachchadi, Pal Payasam, Murungakkai Sambhar, & Vadaam. Wishing you all a very Happy Vishu & Baisakhi.
A platefull of Goodness. The Grilled Cottage Steak with fried rice, grilled vegetables and french fries was one of the best we've had @pickleandpint @tungahotels . Apart from being flavourful this meal was a great experience. Pic @shubhamkatariyaphotography
Say 'Hello to the Queen' the most delectable dessert of fried bananas, cinnamon, biscuit crumble, vanilla ice cream, and chunks of juicy strawberries.
